However, the astronomical calculations and likely dates were revealed by Ibrahim Al Jarwan, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomical Society.
This wil be the first Ramadan to fall in the UAE’s winter since 2000.
Ramadan 2024
According to Ibrahim Al Jarwan, the holy month of Ramadan for the Hijri Year 1444 is likely to start from Monday, March 11. If this happens, Eid al Fitr is set to be on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. This implies that we can anticipate a week off from Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12.
It’s important to know that religious scholars decide the exact start date of Ramadan during the night.

Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, is a time when Muslims across the world fast from sunrise to sunset.
