The annual Sharjah Light Festival is back for its 13th edition with 12 nights of kaleidoscopic projections and music.
The colorful festival is the first and only of its kind in the region, and is packed with light shows, art displays, and entertainment activities for families and individuals of all age groups.

The 12-day long Sharjah Light Festival will run from Wednesday, February 7 to 18, 2024.
The Sharjah Light Festival showcases the emirate’s rich heritage and historical monuments. The festival is organized by the Sharjah commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA).
During the festival, 12 cultural and tourist sites and landmarks in Sharjah will be adorned with a captivating art display crafted by internationally acclaimed artists, creating a picturesque and captivating scene perfect for photography.
The Sharjah Light Festival has grown to become a platform for local and international artists to present dazzling light shows, music, and various effects, that tell stories of Sharjah’s cultural, intellectual, and historical heritage, and outlining the emirate’s aspirations and visions for the future, by shedding light – quite literally – on architectural destinations and buildings in Sharjah.
The festival uses energy-saving lighting technology and all the lights and projectors used have passed certification for environmental compliance.
When to watch
Daily light shows will run from 6pm until 11pm from Sunday to Wednesday, and 6pm to 12 midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The Light Village will open from 4pm to 12 midnight, from Sunday to Wednesday, and 4pm to 1am, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Light Village extends over a area exceeding 19,000 square metres, and hosts 41 Emirati-owned small and medium-sized projects, offering visitors an array of food, drinks, and sweets.
The Light Museum is also on the list of activities with areas dedicated to games, entertainment activities, and live shows, providing families with an integrated experience and an attractive entertainment destination.
