Eid Al Adha 2022 is close at hand and we already know it’s going be a long weekend. The celebration is incomplete without some dazzling fireworks illuminating the night sky. However, this year we have fireworks at just two venues due to the soaring temperatures – Dubai Festival City Mall, Dubai and Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Dubai Festival City Mall
Dubai Festival City Mall is hosting spectacular fireworks on Sunday, July 10 at 8pm. The fireworks will take place alongside IMAGINE, the incredible water, lights and laser show that takes place everyday after sunset at Dubai Festival City. The iconic destination has also designed some impressive events throughout for festive season.
From Saturday, July 9 until Monday, July 11, a beatboxing harmonica player, Moses Concas, will perform at Dubai Festival City Mall. The multi-talented is the winner of Italy’s Got Talent 2016.
From Saturday, July 9 until Monday, July 11, a traditional Lebanese dance group will put on cultural, 15-minute performances at 5.30pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.15pm.
On Tuesday, July 12, visitors will be able to enjoy one of the many traditions of Emirati culture with Al Harbia. Local dancers will entertain the crowds at 5:30pm, 6.30pm, and 8.15pm with a folk dance performed with sticks by a group of men and young boys as they chant Bedouin tunes to celebrate triumps.
