Free fan zones in Dubai
It’s time to gear up for the FIFA World Cup 2022! The most awaited sporting event is set to kick off on 20, November 2022.
Dubai is expecting heavy footfall ahead of, and during the tournament. Knowing this, the city has put up several fan zones to watch the action.
If you are on the hunt to watch the game on the big screen for free in Dubai, here’s the list.
1. Barasti Beach Stadium, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi
The popular beachside sports bar, Barasti shows every game on a huge 12x7m screen at their epic fan zone. There will be live BBQ stations, food counters, flame throwers, laser shows, incredible drink deals, games, and entertainment.
Entry to the fan zone is free with tables and seating on a first come first serve basis. For those looking to reserve the best seats, you can pay Dhs350 and redeem the full amount back on food and drinks.

2. Bla Bla
Bla Bla is the ultimate location for all football fans to watch the game on giant screens at the beach bar and pool, with live entertainment, drinks and food offers.
While watching the game in the pool, enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the beach bar, complete with a stunning view of Ain Dubai.
Entrance is free until the quarterfinals, where a fully redeemable entry fee will apply.

3. ‘Football Deck’ by Belgian Café Dubai Festival City
All visitors get free entry to the dedicated fan zone, dubbed ‘Football Deck’ by Belgian Café Dubai Festival City, at Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City.
Two gargantuan HD screens will play the games live, one at the Belgian Café and one on the outdoor terrace of Crowne Plaza with views of the creek and the city. A painting station will even be on hand for the most enthusiastic fans, and other competitions and raffles.
There will be a dedicated spacious area for groups to enjoy the action.

4. City Centre Mirdif Stadium
City Centre Mirdif is launching City Centre Mirdif Stadium on its rooftop – which is an ideal family-friendly spot to catch all the excitement of this year’s World Cup.
The fan zone will comprise a 700-person-capacity dual-match-screening zone and a 150-person-capacity food and beverage zone with numerous F&B concepts. The area will host activities for children, alongside shisha lounges for older guests and also other football-themed activations.
The fan zone will be open from 1pm to 1am daily, between 20 November – 18 December.
Free entry for the first 13 days (20 November – 2 December) and starting from 3 December, entry ticket will cost Dhs50 which are fully redeemable against F&B purchases.

5. The Stadium at Irish Village
The Irish Village is hosting a huge World Cup fan zone at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
There are giant projectors that are like 36-metre screen to watch all the action, and there’s no need of reservation.
