Dubai Metro Blue Line
The extension of Dubai Metro called Blue Line has been approved. On Friday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, shared a significant announcement.
In 2006, Dubai started talking about adding a Blue Line to the Metro, along with expanding the Red and Green lines. Plans changed due to the global economic slowdown, but now, like the revived Palm Jebel Ali project, the Blue Line seems to be back in consideration.
