Kalba Waterfront is the largest retail, and also the first inclusive waterfront located in Kalba, Sharjah’s Eastern Region.
According to the announcement made by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), the project is is nearly 100 per cent complete and scheduled to welcome visitors in the 4th quarter of 2022.
Developed by Eagle Hills Sharjah Development, a joint venture between Shurooq and Eagle Hills, the Dh119 million world-class project extends over 183,000 square metres (sqm), and features new family-friendly concepts in the retail and entertainment sector promising to offer a distinctive touristic experience to its visitors.
About the Kalba Waterfront project
The waterfront project is set in one of the country’s most beautiful and tranquil areas, highlighted Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Acting CEO of Shurooq.
The project overlooks a serene lagoon lined by mangroves, the go-to destination for nature lovers.
It offers a compelling shopping experience because of its contemporary design, according to Al Qaseer. He added that the project will feature ’80 units, a variety of indoor and outdoor dining outlets, as well as an expansive promenade that lines the lagoon.’

A little adventure for adults and kids alike, Al Qaseer stated, ‘the project (will) comprise of a 1,600 sqm play area that caters to the interests of visitors of all age groups, and features a trampoline, skating tracks, and free-fall platform.
A unique experience awaits extreme adventure enthusiasts as they test theirs skills at rope walking, wall climbing, and supplemented with virtual action from high-tech simulators, with video games and virtual reality kiosks.
