3. Watch Dolphin & Seal Show, Dubai Dolphinarium
Dubai Dolphinarium doubles the fun for kids this summer as they have a special offer for Dolphin & Seal Show (11am shows only) extended for the month of August 2022.
Dolphin & Seal Show is a 45-minute indoor interactive extravaganza that showcases the skills and incredible stunts of adorable dolphins and brilliant seals. 4. La Perle by Dragone
Another amazing attraction to visit in August is La Perle, where you can enjoy the air-conditioned water stage.
La Perle is the region’s first permanent live show, located in the heart of Dubai at Al Habtoor City. The 90-minute show features the UAE’s pearl diving history and culture in a spectacular style. You can witness the stage flood with water and drain in a matter of seconds as the artists perform mind-blowing aqua and aerial feats, such as diving from 25 meters high and unbelievable motorcycle tricks.
Age restrictions: Children under 2 years are not allowed into the theatre.

5. Go for a Dhow Cruise ride
Sail through the historic heart of Dubai abroad a traditional wooden dhow. A dhow is a sturdily-designed wooden boat, traditionally used by Dubai’s fishing communities. A 90-minute laid-back air-conditioned dhow cruise ride will offer you spectacular night views of the city.
You can choose to ride in a dhow cruise along several locations – Dubai Marina, Dubai Creek and Dubai Water Canal. 6. Ski Dubai
Why sweat in the scorching temperatures outside when you can enjoy skiing at -4°C inside Ski Dubai? Ski Dubai is the world’s third-largest indoor ski resort, located inside the Mall of the Emirates.
The adventurous resort features an 85-metre mountain top, which you can enjoy climbing. Apart from the Ski Slope, this place includes a complete snow park, and a penguin home where you can meet King and Gentoo Penguins. There’s a plethora of activities in there, such as skiing, snowboarding, zip lining, chairlift ride, toboggan, and more.
The Ski Dubai ticket price changes based on the activities chosen. Two-hour Slope Pass costs AED 210. For snow park one-time access, it costs AED 190. For a 40-minute encounter with penguins, ticket cost AED 230. There’s summer day pass including various activities for AED 295 per person.

7. Alan Walker and Kshmr Live Show: August 26 at Coca-Cola Arena
Alan Walker is returning in Dubai with KSHMR on August 26th for another exhilarating night at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena – the home of live entertainment. The EDM star DJ Alan Walker is known for wearing a mask and hoodie while on stage and the English-Norwegian’s most famous track is Faded (2015). Additionally, you will hear Sweet Dreams, a popular festival hit, the music video for which was shot in Dubai.

8. Dubai Waterparks
Dubai Waterparks are undeniably one of the best way to beat the heat in August. There are many of them in Dubai and the list includes Wild Wadi, Atlantis Aquaventure Park, Laguna Waterpark, Aqua fun Waterpark and LEGOLAND Waterpark.
Aquaventure waterpark tickets are priced at Dhs199 for UAE residents. For Legoland waterpark, UAE residents can avail ‘Terrific Tuesdays’ discount and enjoy 40 per cent off a single park entry ticket, making access just Dhs198 (valid on Tuesdays only).
For Wild Wadi Waterpark, if you book online rates are priced at AED169 for adults and AED129 for children under 1.1 metres through the week, and AED189 for adults and AED139 for children under 1.1 metres on weekends. If you are paying at the gate, you’ll be charged AED179 for adults and AED139 for children under 1.1 metres through the week, and AED199 for adults and AED149 for children under 1.1 metres on weekends. All children under 3 enter for free.
For Laguna Waterpark at La Mer, tickets are priced at AED145 online or AED210 at the gate.
