Global Village illuminated its vibrant gates just last month, unveiling a plethora of beloved pavilions, fresh attractions, and a multitude of food kiosks.
In its 28th season, the family-friendly destination will remain accessible until April 28, 2024. This year, Global Village boasts 27 pavilions, over 3,500 retail establishments, 250 dining choices, and an astonishing 40,000 performances.
Global Village Bus Routes
This year, getting to Global Village is set to become exceptionally convenient as the Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially announced the revival of five bus routes to get visitors to Global Village.
At a cost of just Dhs10 per trip, the bus service can offer a convenient option if finding a taxi becomes challenging.
There will be five available bus routes to reach Global Village. These routes include:
- Bus 102 from Al Rashdiya Bus Station.
- Bus 103 from the Union Bus Station, passing through Al Rebat Street.
- Bus 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, passing through Al Jafiliya Metro Station.
- Bus 106 from the Mall of the Emirates Bus Station, passing through Al Barsha A2, Al Barsha Lulu Supermarket, Dubai American Academy 2, Classic Crystal 2 and Al Quoz, Clinical Pathology Services 2.
- Bus 107 from Al Nahda 1 Bus Station.
The service runs from 3.15pm – 11.15pm daily, with 30 minutes of travel time
Route 102, 104 and 106 will run every hour and 103 every 40 minutes. The ride is paid for using the Nol card, so please ensure it is adequately funded.
The RTA is utilizing luxury coaches for this service, ensuring top-notch buses that prioritize both comfort and safety measures.
What’s new this year..
Every hour, a brand-new fire and laser show will dazzle audiences above the world’s largest underwater LED screen situated at Dragon Lake. Additionally, captivating 3D projections and dynamic light animations will illuminate the expansive Dallah installation at the park’s Cultural Gate. To top it off, an exciting fireworks display is scheduled for every Friday and Saturday at 9pm.
This year introduces the “Cyber City Stunt Show – Powered by Surge,” a futuristic spectacle set in 2075, showcasing flying motorcycles and police cars adorned with LED lights.
The UK’s Dhol Foundation will combine South Asian drumming with Celtic melodies, and “Merry-Go-Round” is a circus ensemble featuring jugglers and fire breathers.
Returning to the scene are the acrobatic Filipino troupe AAINJAA, along with Fusion Japan and Urban Crew, both alumni of “America’s Got Talent.”
This season brings the addition of “Mini World,” a unique destination that pays tribute to cultures worldwide with its miniature replicas of iconic landmarks, diverse street-food stalls, adventure areas, and a mini-golf zone suitable for visitors of all ages and skill levels.
Also making a comeback this year are the ever-popular Carnaval arena, offering nearly 200 rides and games; Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium, featuring ten new exhibits; and the thrilling House of Fear.

Global Village is open daily from 4pm to midnight.
