Harry Potter fans can soon encounter the magic of wizarding world as the interactive Harry Potter experience is coming to Abu Dhabi Mall.
Celebrate Hogwarts
A recreation of popular Harry Potter film settings will be featured at the ‘Celebrate Hogwarts’ experience at Abu Dhabi mall, during the back-to-school season, September 9 through October 4.
There are a range of Harry Potter-inspired installations at the Celebrate Hogwarts experience. Visitors will get the chance to climb Hogwarts’s moving staircases, take a seat in the Gryffindor common room and pay Hagrid’s hut a visit.
You will also get witness a life-sized recreation of the iconic Hogwarts Express train, chuffing its way out of platform 9 and 3/4, and most forbiddingly, take a walk through the Forbidden Forest – the whomping willow’s stomping ground.

The most dedicated Potter fans can test their knowledge on the weekends, as there will be Harry Potter Trivia Quizzes, and fun games will be set up throughout the activation.

The experience is free to enter, but certain areas will require Activity Passports, that will be handed against shopping receipts from any store in the mall, except for the Hypermarket.
For every Dh100 spent, shoppers will receive two passports, and for every Dh200 spent, shoppers will receive a maximum of five passports to access Celebrate Hogwarts Experience.
The Celebrate Hogwarts Experience will be open daily from noon to 9pm, from Friday September 9 through to Tuesday October 4, at Abu Dhabi Mall.
The Harry Potter: Celebrate Hogwarts experience first came to the UAE earlier this year with a pop-up exhibition at Mall of the Emirates for the Dubai Shopping Festival.
Obsessed with Harry Potter? That’s not all..! There’s a stage show named Potted Potter coming to the UAE this October 22 and 23 at the Theatre by QE2. The show features all of the series’ most popular Harry Potter characters, with a special appearance from a fire-breathing dragon, a game of Quidditch, comedy costumes, songs and work arounds to bring Hogwarts magic to life.
In addition, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is now streaming at UAE cinemas, for a limited time.
