Global Village Season 27 will feature 27 pavilions.
Global Village, the popular multicultural family-friendly destination is set to reopen on October 25 for its 27th season.
As part of season 27, the Global Village announced the first preview of new experiences and venue enhancements visitors can look forward to.
“New pavilions from Qatar and Oman for this season will add to the excitement of the unique Global Village shopping experience,” said the entertainment destination in a press release.
A new concept called Road of Asia, which will be a dedicated street featuring kiosks by 13 Asian countries, has also been announced.
Global Village Season 27 Pavilions
The pavilions confirmed for season 27 are the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Afghanistan, Africa, Americas, China, Egypt, Europe, India, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Yemen, Russia. New for the 27th season are the Oman and Qatar pavilions.
In addition, the Al Sana’a and Khalifa Foundation pavilions will return, allowing local entrepreneurs to grow their business with the Global Village platform, allowing guests to be amongst the first to discover the latest products.
New Road of Asia concept
The Road of Asia concept is a new venture in Season 27.
‘Road of Asia’ is a new pedestrian street featuring 43 kiosks, offering products from 13 Asian countries that are not represented through the 27 pavilions.
The 13 countries to be featured in the Road of Asia are Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Brunei, Laos, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and the Philippines.
“Each of these vibrant outlets will offer guests 100 per cent authentic products” , it stated.
Road of Asia will showcase diverse cultures and traditions from one of the world’s most populous continents, home to several of the world’s oldest civilizations.

Mohamed Sharaf, chief operating officer of Dubai Holding Entertainment, said, “Season 26 saw record footfall, and the whole team is working hard to build on last season’s accomplishments to ensure next season’s success.”
“Global Village has been a regional and international phenomenon for over two decades, helping cement Dubai as a global hub for entertainment and tourism,”
“Planning and construction are on track for the October 25 opening, and we are all looking forward to an unmissable line-up of new attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences”, he added.
Sharaf said more details about season 27 would be revealed in the coming weeks.
As per their official website, the season 27 runs from October 2022 – April 2023.
Global Village is located on Exit 37 of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (311) in Dubailand, close to Cityland Mall. The Park is a one-stop destination for some of the best entertainment, shopping, dining, and attractions in the region.
