An all-time favourite winter pastime and multicultural family-friendly destination, Global Village is set to reopen on October 25 for its 27th season.
The popular festival park will start selling its VIP Packs from Saturday, September 24 and pre-sale will open this Saturday, September 17.
To celebrate the 27th season, a lucky winner will also receive a Dh27,000 cash prize hidden in a VIP pack.
Global Village VIP packs
The special VIP packs include VIP entry tickets, parking privileges and Wonder Passes, and the highlight is a golden coin that will be hidden inside one VIP Pack, and the lucky recipient will win a cash prize of Dh27,000.
The special VIP package includes the following:
- VIP entry tickets
- VIP parking privileges
- VIP Wonder Passes, which give holders access to attractions like Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, the Aqua Action stunt show and the Carnaval funfair
One is a limited-edition perfumed candle created from the park’s new signature scent called ‘Wonders’. Another new VIP Pack benefit for Season 27 will be complimentary or discounted access to a range of new premium experiences including the beautifully designed private Cabanas with butler service for up to eight people and the new Star Seating for the Aqua Action Stunt Show.
Additionally, VIP guests will get special offers for Dubai’s other top attractions such as Inside Burj Al Arab, Sea Breeze at JBR, Roxy Cinemas, The Green Planet, Laguna Water Park, as well as Dubai Parks and Resorts.
Like in previous seasons, VIP pass holders will receive vouchers for table reservation at the Majlis of the World.
Guests can choose from four different types of VIP packs:
- Diamond VIP Packs: Priced at Dh6,000 with benefits worth over Dh28,000
- Platinum Packs: Dh2,500 with benefits worth almost Dh15,000
- Gold Packs: Dh1,950 with benefits valued at Dh13,000
- Silver Packs: Dh1,600 with benefits worth Dh10,000
Diamond pack holders will get vouchers for in-park taxi transportation, car wash and porter services.
A small proportion of the VIP Packs are available for pre-booking for Dhs 70 from September 17 until September 22, before the official sale starts on September 24.
Individuals over 18 with a valid Emirates ID can buy up to eight VIP packs per person.
VIP packs can be purchased from Virgin Megastore tickets website.
The packs will be delivered to guests in early October, ahead of the season-opening on October 25.
Global Village Regular Ticket
New ticket options have been introduced for Global Village season 27.
‘Value’ ticket – valid from Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays), will encourage weekday visits. They are priced AED 20 at the gate and AED 18 online.
‘Any Day’ ticket – gives visitors the flexibility to enter Global Village any day they like (including public holidays). They are priced AED 25 at the gate and AED 22.50 online.
Tickets purchased on the Global Village app or website will be discounted by 10 per cent.
What’s new for this season
Global Village Season 27 will features 27 pavilions.
Big Balloon Ride
Global Village season 27 when it opens, will take its visitors to new heights this year . A helium balloon ride will see visitors take off 200 feet above the ground, offering 360-degree bird’s eye views of the park and the Dubai skyline.
The ‘Global Village Big Balloon’ ride has enough space for 20 passengers of all ages and is also suitable for people of determination.
The balloon is as high as a six-storey building and measures 65 feet in diameter, is set to become a new landmark in the sky as it will be visible from “miles around the multicultural destination”.
Road of Asia
The Road of Asia concept is a new venture in Season 27.
‘Road of Asia’ is a new pedestrian street featuring 43 kiosks, offering products from 13 Asian countries that are not represented through the 27 pavilions.
The 13 countries to be featured in the Road of Asia are Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Brunei, Laos, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and the Philippines.
“Each of these vibrant outlets will offer guests 100 per cent authentic products” , it stated.
Road of Asia will showcase diverse cultures and traditions from one of the world’s most populous continents, home to several of the world’s oldest civilizations.

Premium experiences for Global Village Season 27
Cabanas, with a private butler, will be available to book for friends and family groups of up to eight people. Guests can relax in style as they watch the world go by with their private butler on hand to cater to their every need.
Visitors can also upgrade to Star Seating to watch the award-winning, death-defying stunt shows.
Global Village is located on Exit 37 of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (311) in Dubailand, close to Cityland Mall. The Park is a one-stop destination for some of the best entertainment, shopping, dining, and attractions in the region.
