What does visa on arrival mean for UAE residents?
Visa on arrival refers to a visa provided to a traveller once they arrive at their destination country. Upon arrival, they have to submit the necessary paperwork and pay the visa-on-arrival fees by submitting the required documents. The traveller cannot leave the airport and enter the country without completing the visa formalities after landing.

GEORGIA

This country provides visa-free travels for all UAE residents. You need to present a valid visa or residence permit along with your passport to obtain a 90-day visa-free visit.
AZERBAIJAN
UAE residents can obtain a visa on arrival in this country since 2018. Azerbaijan is a transcontinental country located at the boundary of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. Also known as the land of fire, this exotic country boasts of rich culture and hospitable locals. One of the most famous sites to see is Yanar Dag – Burning Mountain. Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan and has the biggest harbour on the Caspian Sea.
You can reach this country in just 3 hours by plane. If you have a valid UAE residence visa, you can easily obtain visa on arrival at the airport in this country for up to one month stay. If you plan to stay for more than 15 days in this country, you must register at the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

MALDIVES
The Maldives is a nation of islands, situated in the Indian Ocean known for its pristine beaches, exotic marine life, luxurious resorts and the stunning beauty of its turquoise lagoons.
This tropical paradise gives tourists of all nationalities a 30-day visa on arrival at no added cost. The traveller must satisfy the basic entry requirements to get immigration clearance upon arrival such as valid passport, proof of return flight, and either confirmed hotel accommodations or evidence of sufficient funds.
MONTENEGRO
Montenegro is a Balkan country with rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline.
UAE residents can obtain visa on arrival for 315AED(including VAT) valid up to one month. The traveller must show confirmed return tickets, confirmed hotel reservation and a valid passport with with a minimum of six months validity.
ARMENIA
Armenia is located in the southern Caucasus and known for its beautiful landscapes, rugged mountains, extinct volcanoes, its cuisine, culture and history.
The country has a special visa-waiver programme for UAE residents holding an Indian passport. They can obtain visa on arrival for just Dhs.20 for a short stay.
UAE citizens, Lebanese, Jordanian and South African nationals will get a visa on arrival in Armenia while Pakistani, Syrian, Saudi, Nepali, Sri Lankan and all other African nationalities will not get visa on arrival.
SEYCHELLES
The Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, off East Africa. It’s home to numerous beaches, coral reefs and nature reserves, as well as rare animals such as giant Aldabra tortoises.
Similar to Maldives, this country has no entry requirements. An on-arrival visa is issued so as long as the person holds a valid return ticket to their point of origin. The traveller must satisfy the basic entry requirements for immigration clearance such as proof of pre-paid accommodation and sufficient funds for the duration of their stay (a minimum of AED550) However, a written authorizaton of the Ministry of Health is required for anyone to enter into or exit from Seychelles.
NEPAL
Nepal is the country of the Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world, located in the Himalayas Mountain Ranges.
Nepal provides visa on arrival to most of the nationalities for a small amount. Various options are : a 15-day visa for Dhs110, a 30-day visa for Dhs183 or a 90-day permit for Dhs460. Indian passport holders do not require any visa.
